Well I can see how it might be regarded as a ripoff of Captain Redbeard. Olden-era mischief maker trying to get some kicks out of killing someone, thwarted by futuristic mechanics. And Suicide Train just features a train magically flying away right before it's about to run the guy over. Not quite so relevant.

It's a different enough take on the idea, though, so anyone getting their undies in a twist about this is just being a tit.

If by "some" you really mean "none", then yes. In no cases powerful magnetic fields have caused cancer. What powerful magnetic fields do is let us see cancer. It's called an MRI.

I think we can just kinda agree that they're both pretty amazing. PBF updated once in like the past...year, but that was about it.

I think TBK is a little more sophisticated in that you have to think about a lot of the jokes. Doesn't make it better, it's just a different genre that makes it so funny.
