  • Haha

So good and so true :p
  • Hahahaha, one of the best! 5 stars!
  • Hahaha, brilliant!
  • I wonder how the t-rex put his hat on
  • This leaves one to ponder how A Boy Named Sue might be taken into the dino-realm.
  • Y'all mighty good at drawin' jokes, pardners. Rex over yonder, he ain't no good at drawin' at all.
  • That right there? That's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen on the internet.
  • I want a bookmark with the last panel printed on it. A real bookmark.
  • Loved this one, and I totally agree re: the bookmark. Think about it!
  • nice! ROFLOL'ed

love your sketches! keep it up!
  • LMAO!!!
  • This site has made my day. Great stuff guys
  • OH MY GOD. that was absolutely brilliant and hilarious! I had to run out of this radio room i'm in to laugh. Absolute Genius! Good job! :D
  • Wow, these are fantastic. You guys need an RSS feed though.
  • Please get a livejournal feed! Please!
  • Wow, I just discovered your strip. I love it!

RSS feeds make me go all tingly in my Google Reader.
  • I agree, RSS would rock.

    Love the strips, though.
  • <3
  • Unfortunately, I predicted the outcome well before the final panel (as I did with LEGO LYNCHING). The 1st thing I thought when I saw the T-Rex (well drawn BTW) was how it was going to to shoot its opponent with its tiny BBQ fork-like appendages?

Personally, I would have shown the guns being fired in a side profile silhouette. Then shown a frontal shot of the T-Rex holding its pistol out and gun smoke partially obscuring its torso. Next panel is the same picture, but now the smoke is wind blown away to reveal that the T-Rex's gun holster is attached to a modified lacey pink brassiere, with the caption: "As usual, first to draw was Pink Bra McGraw."

Perhaps I'll pass that idea onto Nicholas Gurewitch. :)

The only one I LOL'd at so far was the Boppin Mary Poppins, because clever surprise endings amuse me everytime.

P.S.- The only reason I came back to this site was beause Jeremy Kramer sent me a pleasant email explaining why a previous comment I made about TBK's similarities to PBF was removed from this site. Jeremy said he didn't mind the criticism and that the "comment section" was only for "comic specific" issues. He was also nice enough to point out that there is a forum thread already dedicated to my afforementioned reference. It wasn't necessary to inform me of my comment removal, but I thought it was classy of him to do so nonetheless.
  • I think it's brilliant just the way it is.

Even though I saw it coming... if it had ended any other way I would have just been disappointed.

This is the first time I've been to this site - I'm absolutely loving it!
  • Sergio Leone is laughing his ass off in Cinema Heaven right now.
  • Awsome!
  • Vaughn your version is a totally different, less funny comic.

Incredible "breaking" of the comic panel size convention for effect, too.
  • Brilliant. First time I have actually "laughed out loud" at something on the internet in a long time.
  • hahaha like Eddie Izzard's useless forearms for playing piano ...
  • Also, the name "Fossilwood" is worth at least a few nanograms of greatness
  • My hypothesis is that T-Rex hands weren't visible. Like whale feet.
  • then they'd probably be swimmers
  • roflcopter
  • This is by far your finest work.
  • totally my favorite. oft-quoted in my circle. just read in the updates that print might become available...i would pay a quadrillion dollars for a print of this. a quadrillion. at least.
  • I was thinking about buying the print, but I noticed you got rid of the speech bubble, which I loved...
  • Yeah, I actually spent the better part of a day remastering the whole comic and cleaning it up so it would make nice hi res print... I should probably put a link to the old version somewhere for people to compare and contrast. In the end I felt like it worked better without the big bubble, but I could be wrong and I do have an annoying tendency to second guess everything. Sorry if I screwed it up for ya. I did get the prints of this one from the printer today, though, and I must say they're quite pretty. It might look a bit odd, but I suppose I could hand-write it back in for you up in the margin, if you want.
  • Hi. I just found the comic site, and went through your entire archive. This is probably my favorite (besides maybe the ghost-busting phantom one), and I think it works great without the text bubble. In fact, I don't even have any idea what the text was, but I like it like this
  • T-Rex's only fault.
  • Great job!!!
  • I thought it worked better with the speech bubble. If I were seeing this for the first time, I would only have a vague idea of what's going on, rather than knowing T-Rex ate his pa.
  • I wish I had saved it when it had it on there, so much better then. Less is not always better. The dialogue was expressed so well.
  • Wait!! Who won? That's hilarious... I guess the T-REX was better off in his time lol
  • lol this was pretty cool, nice stuff
  • i have a big head and little arms...
  • I just noticed the dialogue is no longer there.
    Nevertheless, it's still a great comic ;)
  • THAT IS HELLA FUNNY!!!!
  • Nice comic, I like the way these characters are created and though out, great stuff
  • I want a bookmark with the last panel printed on it. A real bookmark
  • Wow. Thanks for your great article. I like it very much, that you put so much photos in the article. Very good job - and thank you very much.
  • I loved the part when the big monster had little arms. That was awesome.
  • Yeah as opposed to those parts where he didn't had little arms.
  • and how exactly he put on his belt before?
And how come he was oblivious he can't reach the gun ?
How can you hold a gun and shoot if you don't have an actual palm, just 2 fingers?

This comic gives more questions than answers.

Also I am pretty sure Parasaurolophus cyrtocristatus witch is portrayed as the opponent of T-Rex didn't have opposable thumb. So he couldn't draw as well.
It'd all end in endless staring contest.
  • wow way to ruin it
  • yeah thanks askhole
  • I may be wrong on this, but I don't think dinosaurs had revolvers. The only weaponry available to them was that of the black powder, muzzle loading rifle variety.
    So much for historical accuracy...
  • STFU
  • and you misspelled which
  • very nice , creative stuff, really enjoyed a lot.
  • ultimate cool cartoons... gr8 post dude....
  • amazing cartoon dude... LOL.. too funny...
