Truck Bearing Kibble: New Bearings

  • Nick · 11 months ago
Well, I'd shout 'first' or something juvenile like that, but this doesn't seem to be the proper occasion.

I'll be sad to see TBK take a turn for the slow. Nothing brings a smile to my face faster then these three panels. So I hope your awesomesauce scif project goes well, I'll follow it with a hopeful heart, and eagerly await your posts.

It's early to say, but some shades of our humor will likely carry over to the new project. It won't be a complete departure from what we do here.

It's on the very short list of online comics that I bought something from, don't let TBK fall by the wayside while you work on your new project. I love my print of Fossilwood!

I for one couldn't care less about a character driven serious sci-fi project. I hope you scrap that and focus on TBK.

I'll eagerly await to see what you guys come up with next, even though it may take some time.

Also, I just noticed that a few Truck Bearing Kibble strips + a TBK presentation by Jeremy is in print here in Norway in the "M" magazine. Very cool!

That's great. Keep watching that mag. A few more of our strips just might show up.

One new comic a month? That's not much of a goal.
  • yep · 11 months ago
... and I'm willing to bet he doesn't even live up to that weak promise :(

What? An artist who puts his work on the internet for the masses to view for free for the purposes of entertainment is going to be doing it a little bit more often? THAT IS NOT NEARLY GOOD ENOUGH. I demand that he make a comic whenever I want to view it, and to psychically predict when I want it. Not only that, but he must also give away a free white elephant away to each new viewer, especially if they have unrealistic expectations for everyone except themselves.

How he will find the time and money to do this, I do not care.

I don't think more than one comic a month is "unrealistic" since pretty much every other webcomic out there, whether for profit or fun, updates a lot more than that.

I think to make some kind of resolution to do the bare minimum amount of work on a webcomic isn't exactly setting your sights high.

One new comic a month is better than Blastwave.. :D

And if that scifi thing is anything like the comics in style, but you know, with actual plot and all.. Count me interested.

So you're calling it quits :(

lol, who's gonna rip off PBF now? Your comic wasn't as good as PBF but it was the next best thing.

Now that both have stopped, where am I going to get the funnies, or the semi-funnies (depending on the week) ??

"...Next time I post something here, it will be a comic. Promise...." This is my forte too: comic idea. Just be sure to fulfill your promised as I will look forward to it. I loved comics and its humor.
