  • "series of grizzly murders." - Those poor bears, such a grisly fate.
Great art and funny as always.
  • Doh! Completely missed that. Thank you. Fixed now.
  • Punchline was really expected but good all the same.

"Today's forecast: cloudy with a chance of rain"
Sounds like the suicide cults are going to start up again. The TPD just can't get a break.
  • Don't turkey's die in the rain?
  • my favorite part was the line "other items left at the scene: cheesy potatoes..." . Great stuff!
  • Today's Forcast: Two typographical errors.

(Got one in grizzly, but you missed forcast ;x)

    Great work as always.
  • I think it's supposed to be " grisly" as in "grisle"
  • Nevermind, that has a "t" in it :/
  • Nevermind, I'm dumb.
  • My favorite part is the vomiting turkey cop in the first panel.
  • Great comic, as usual.

One note: "Likely" was misspelled in "likey to wear an apron"
  • A few more mistakes:

"are following all leads according Detective Greg"

"experts agree that the he is likely"
  • Heh, this comic is a typo disaster. This is the problem with the increased resolution... not only do I have to draw higher detail(which I enjoy), I have to carefully edit silly newspaper article afterthoughts. Oh well, I tried to fix it up a bit, but now I'm headed to bed.
  • People are complaining about mistakes? Two words - Artistic Licence.
  • Heh. Im surprised you didnt try and play it cool. I can think of at least one detective film where the local paper's inability to spell anything right was a major part of the plot =p
  • Yeah, Hot Fuzz was great...
  • Alrighty, fixed more typos, spent a bit of time rewording the article... I must say, journalistic writing is not my strong suit.
  • I love, love, LOVE panel two. A turkey detective smoking a cigarette, with a cup of coffee.

    Damn it's brilliant!
  • Thank you!
  • Amazing. The puking, the officer and the newspaper. That's a good comic. ^_^

    New reader, yay. XD
  • Every panel a brilliant masterpiece. The Hollywood cliche of the cop turkey throwing up at the scene of a grizzly murder. The shot of the detective through the legs of the victim. You are the Fincher of comics

I give THANKS for you guys. And I'm a Canadian!
  • I absolutely love David Fincher films, so your comment makes me very happy Dead Robot.
  • Here's hoping he can get Rendezvous with Rama off the ground.
  • Keep your fingers and toes crossed. I read that the project was likely dead. I'm looking forward to Benjamin Button, though.
  • Honestly? This many people correcting spelling? Does it matter how the spelling in the faked up article is, if the actual comic is so funny? Nit-picking, anal-retentive spastics...
  • As if there never were any words in an actual newspaper article...
  • I think my favorite thing about this comic is the naming. I don't know why or how I know this, but somewhere along the lines I learned that a snood is that little bit of skin that hangs over the turkey's beak. Detective Greg Snood, the Butterball Police, the Wattler. All genius.
  • I love the rain dripping off the turkey in the first panel. I actually zoomed on it. I feel like most people would have left it out or forgotten about it.

    Also, turkeys are damn ugly.
  • Awesome comic. I want a full 24 page story with detective Turkey.

I wonder – if a human had been slaughtered, decapitated and cooked like that, would we see a picture like that on the front page of our local papers? the answer is: hopefully.
  • The puking turkey is pretty awesome! And the Detective turkey is even more awesome...er :D

    Happy Turkey Day!
  • I was hoping this would be late...

so that i could change my bookmark for this site from "Truck Bearing Kibble" to "Tardy McLatepants"...

    Maybe next time :)
  • ..."series OF grisly murders"...
  • ...OF a butterball residence...
  • ...according TO detective...
  • God, now i just feel bad...
  • I want to say that this is one of the few comics I read that requires actual cognitive thought. I don't read this to relax, I read it to get those funny tickling feelings from inside my head that everyone tells me are "thoughts". And though I admit there are several comics I didn't get right off the bat, I was always determined to get them because I was positive that anyone who put this much effort into his beautiful artwork must also be utterly masterful with his humor. And I have always found it to be true.

Anyways, keep it up and I definitely look foreward to reading more (I also like the forums, for all of the rabble rousing it causes, because it allows for discussion of the content and there are many things I don't immediately pick up on that people point out!).
  • Thank you so much for this comment. Your experience with the comic is very much what we are striving to create.
  • I read this comic three times a week because I keep missing things first time around. I don't know how I missed it until just now, but first panel has a rookie cop who can't keep it down.
  • dude... if you didn't spot that the first time round, it'd prob take you 5 years to spot all the hidden easter eggs in the watchmen.
  • Yeah seriously the rookie is in the friggin EXACT CENTER of the panel. Come on.
  • I missed it too. I think it's because my eye was drawn to the turkey cop on the left.

besides, at a glance I think it looks like he is searching the ground.

lol, gurp. stop being pricks on the internets, it's cliche.
  • This is such an amazing site with amazing cartoons!
  • this thing is really funny
  • More mistakes:

    "in a decadelong"
"Found in the dining room a of a Butterball residence"

You don't usually make this many =P
