I don't read this to relax, I read it to get those funny tickling feelings from inside my head that everyone tells me are "thoughts". And though I admit there are several comics I didn't get right off the bat, I was always determined to get them because I was positive that anyone who put this much effort into his beautiful artwork must also be utterly masterful with his humor. And I have always found it to be true.

Anyways, keep it up and I definitely look foreward to reading more (I also like the forums, for all of the rabble rousing it causes, because it allows for discussion of the content and there are many things I don't immediately pick up on that people point out!).

Re: The Night Baster

Here's hoping he can get Rendezvous with Rama off the ground.

Re: The Night Baster

God, now i just feel bad...

Re: The Night Baster

...according TO detective...

Re: The Night Baster

...OF a butterball residence...

Re: The Night Baster

..."series OF grisly murders"...

Re: The Night Baster

Heh. Im surprised you didnt try and play it cool. I can think of at least one detective film where the local paper's inability to spell anything right was a major part of the plot =p

Re: The Night Baster

I was hoping this would be late...

so that i could change my bookmark for this site from "Truck Bearing Kibble" to "Tardy McLatepants"...

Maybe next time :)

Re: The Night Baster

I absolutely love David Fincher films, so your comment makes me very happy Dead Robot.

Re: The Night Baster

The puking turkey is pretty awesome! I want a full 24 page story with detective Turkey.

I wonder – if a human had been slaughtered, decapitated and cooked like that, would we see a picture like that on the front page of our local papers? the answer is: hopefully.

Re: The Night Baster

I love the rain dripping off the turkey in the first panel. I don't know why or how I know this, but somewhere along the lines I learned that a snood is that little bit of skin that hangs over the turkey's beak. Detective Greg Snood, the Butterball Police, the Wattler. All genius.
