    The tragedy, the horror!
  • Jeremy is a buttface · 1 year ago
WHY DID YOU LET THE ANIMALS DIE?????????????
  • Dan · 1 year ago
who knew james bond could be such a heartless prick?

oh wait, i did. i think we all did.
  • nov4 · 1 year ago
    the otter looked cute
  • Chou · 1 year ago
    love it! very sad, but i can definitely see that happening. stupid secret agents ¬.¬;;
  • Daniel Tiffany · 1 year ago
Hmm, would be better if he pushed mines, and some huge explosions happened in the water and killed like 20 hench men, but then in next seen fish are floating upside down and the otter's legs and head are blown off or something(maybe not that extreme, otters are cute), but I think that woulda been funnier, still good tho, keep it up.
  • There, I said it · 4 months ago
    Shuttup. Just shuttup.
  • David · 1 year ago
ROFL! Awesome! I think it could work even better without the dialogue in the second panel.
  • The Lazy Canadian · 1 year ago
Quite clever. I'm surprised I didn't see it coming! :D
  • x · 1 year ago
    HAPPY BDAY MUH' FUGGER!!
  • Some call me Dave · 1 year ago
heh heh, you witty b-stard you
  • Chou · 1 year ago
i think it would be better if... wait... it cant get any better!
  • Chris · 1 year ago
Yet another tragic casualty of drunken boating...
  • romeuruiva · 1 year ago
    Cruel...
  • Gal · 1 year ago
I'm not entirely happy with this one. Why would an oil spill bother someone on a water scooter? Those things leave an oily trail wherever they go anyway. The whole concept just doesn't work.
  • Alyssa · 1 year ago
...Why the otter? But on the other hand, AMAZING!
  • Lennie · 1 year ago
I love how he's got a martini in the first panel ... and he's so slick that he hasn't spilled a drop.
  • Alyssa · 1 year ago
(by that I meant the otter's death made me go cry in a corner)
  • Jake · 1 year ago
That's part of the joke, Gal
  • Ted · 1 year ago
    I love it!!

I also like the little jokes you can see reading it again, like the martini.
  • Henk · 1 year ago
All you need for properly grilled food is a match.
All seafood should come with this brilliant marinade!
  • lol · 1 year ago
    Gal,

ITS BOND OIL IT CAN DO ANYTHING! Including, I guess, killing innocent creatures. Hi-larious
  • Chad · 1 year ago
Can you have the Otter Scene made into a background, it's too cute not have staring at you when you turn on your computer monitor in the morning.
  • penny_lane086 · 1 year ago
    I'm sad now. :(

    James Bond is a bastard.
  • Alien8 · 1 year ago
FAIL! You were supposed to use vegetable oil, Q!! and then set it on FIRE!! An oil slick will NOT sink a boat.
  • Andrew · 1 year ago
I bet that otter will have some of the softest fur in the world after his V05 oil treatment. The bird is destined to die.
  • Andrei · 1 year ago
I was hoping for something clever like your early comics, but I have to say I'm not impressed with this one. It's still good, though.
  • Manon · 1 year ago
That's a hoot. I really dug this one.
  • SCRuskin · 1 year ago
Hah! I like the gag a lot, but the thing that really stands out to me is how gorgeous your water is. It's really awesome work.
  • Ginby · 1 year ago
WHERES THE WWF WHEN YOU NEED IT!!!

  • Jetti · 1 year ago
    Animal cruelty at its finest!
    Hilarious!
  • nidoking · 1 year ago
hmm... i was going to laugh but i felt bad.
  • Vex · 1 year ago
Dont worry there is always more oil where that came from.
  • Tiago · 1 year ago
    How does that work?
  • Blaster · 1 year ago
Movie physics say that an oil slick can give anything the slip!
  • Chan · 1 year ago
Love the three-olive martini while driving a boat.
  • Kadgi · 1 year ago
Missed your birthday, i'm a james bond kind of bastard... Happy 58.
  • Parky · 1 year ago
hmmmm....didn't know that oil slick worked on water like it does on land....great strip though! keep it up!
  • fairportfan · 1 year ago
Actually, in the arcade game, on water the oil slick is floating fire.
  • Backflipaddict · 1 year ago
Which Arcade game is that? I need my memory jogged.
    Love the comic!
  • Mark · 1 year ago
    It's Spy Hunter!
  • fairportfan · 1 year ago
Yeah - "Spy Hunter" - not the more recent abortion of a PC game, which apparently flopped, but the sit-down arcade game.

It got a *lot* of my quarters back in the day; probably only Donkey Kong and Bank Panic came close to it - well, "Crazy Climber", too.
  • freshprinceofrr · 1 year ago
I like to believe that the secret agent is holding up a single finger in the second panel.
  • Jake · 1 year ago
    I like to think it's a martini.
  • dudeman-guy · 1 year ago
It would've been better if the counter measure device had made any sense.
  • ginsberg · 1 year ago
I think that the counter-measure was intended to be hopelessly absurd as part of the joke.
  • Gal · 1 year ago
See, I think the hopelessly absurd counter-measure makes it one punchline too many. I understand that it's part of the joke, it just... Doesn't work.

I usually laugh my ass off at these. This one just seems inadequate.
  • SCRuskin · 1 year ago
I think you need to seriously re-evaluate your priorities if "HEY THAT THING THAT HAPPENED IN A COMIC STRIP CAN'T HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE! THAT'S DUMB" is all you can say about this.
  • Lowie Aragones · 1 year ago
isn't it about time for your new comic to be released?
  • joenis · 1 year ago
    haha, i love it.
  • Chris · 1 year ago
    @ Lowie:

    Yeah, isn't it?
  • themightykabool · 1 year ago
    to dudeman-guy and gal:

he's got an open martini glass in a speed boat in that kind of chop = doesn't make any sense

spy is boating, drinking, and not wearing a life jacket = very not safe

it's an f'n comic man, but thanks for making the comments so i can rip on u
i think u two are going to miss out a whole lot in life
    GL surviving the day
  • Nav · 1 year ago
The needless text in panel two ruins this one for me. It seems like it's there just so the reader realizes it's the same boat seen in panel one. Unnecessary.
  • Jingo · 1 year ago
C'mon Nav, the hero always has something to say. Text isn't necessarily evil.
  • Thedrizz · 1 year ago
I tried to make a wallpaper out of the last pannel...its 1280x800

    http://img77.imageshack.us/img77/5323/otter2jl5...

    did what i could *shrug*
  • anon · 1 year ago
It could've done without the text, but is a classic reference nonetheless.

Spy Hunter was a great game and though the countermeasure may not have made sense, it was necessary for the joke and the reference and it's delightfully absurd on it's own. And plus he's a goddamn suave spy, who's to say he can't keep a martini in that sort of chop, maybe that's how he gets it shaken.

I would like you to showcase the same good work in the future as well.
    Keep rocking :)
