Hallelujah! This stick has been saved!

Out of curiosity: What kind of vehicle is the old man coming out of?

I would guess the sign is beside the vehicle so that we can see it?

Perhaps this was God's April Fool's Day prank?

That copper sure looks like Christian Walken.
  • Flood · 1 year ago
    You mean Christopher Walken?

Definitely giggle-worthy, though it still doesn't top the snake-pasties.

The po-po looks like everyone's favorite T-1000: Robert Patrick with a dirty blonde flat top. SERIOUS Milidary Hardwhere!

What's up Germy! Been lurking here for months! Great work! Let's talk sometime!

Personally I think he gives off more a James Woods vibe.

Mr. X, Most of us more than likely got the joke, just didn't pay attention to the background detail of why it happened.
  • Flem · 1 year ago
Thanks to Mr. X I got it, it is funny. HALLELUJAH!
  • Charlie · 1 year ago
You don't need to see the church to get it.
  • Jason · 1 year ago
No, you don't need to see the church at all... Why else would a handicapped man be able to stand? Hmm.. A miracle, maybe?
  • Chan · 1 year ago
Either that, or Mister X is in need of some spiritual healing... or an exorcism.
  • Knorg · 1 year ago
I too got kinda a James Woods vibe from the cop.

Weird, must be something in the water....I just finished making a moving gif of that sign to represent Locke for my current project: LOST acted by stickmen. It's a miracle. And Mr X needs laxatives.
  • Jaime · 1 year ago
Aww!! This is just what I needed to get me through Finals Week!! I go to a Christian college and I think it would make a GREAT prank to change all the Handicapped parking signs on campus to this for a day!!!
  • MrVenom · 1 year ago
personally, i think Mr.X's explanation only entertained further.
  • MrXsFan · 1 year ago
i totally agree, why can't MrX do the same for every comic

How can you people read a genuinely good webcomic, and not understand what "B^Uckley" and "WORDS WORDS WORDS" entails?

Let me break it down some more. TBC is consistently made of oddity and win. It requires few, if any words, provided the viewer is not ignorant of literature, popular culture, and nonlinear thought. WORDS WORDS WORDS is the hallmark of B^U's webcomic. He can't end a comic on a punchline, he must always elaborate the punchline with about a pamphlet's worth of text. For instance, this is the script for a secret comic pointing this out.

Panel 1: Why did the chicken cross the road?
Panel 2: *chicken crosses the road*
    Panel 3: Can-shaped building called Chicken Broth(el).
Panel 4: "It is certainly a good thing that I, being a chicken who is capable of articulating my thoughts in perfect English, did cross this road to the establishment known as 'Chicken Broth(el)', which is a play on the words 'broth' and 'brothel', the latter of which is a house of ill repute where men of loose moral fiber may solicit sexual favors from women of similar moral fortitude in exchange for various sums of currency, which is a physical representation of a nation's gross domestic product value, and as such, may be exchanged for goods and or services, the services in this case being of the sexual nature, BUCKAWK!"

i agree completely with mister x
you cant excpect the comic to be made for you , furthermore a sighn of a quality comic is that it doesnt end with some corny punchline about this and that . you dont need to be a genius to understand it, you just need to have a fair sized weath of knowledge and you need to not be ignorant of the underlying jokes.
bottom line is dont think that life, e.g. comics, tv , movies, food , jobs, or PEOPLE are specifically made withyour motherfucking happiness in mind
and if you dont like something, dont try and make everyone else feel the same way
  • Mister X · 1 year ago
    Err, TBK, rather.

That said, absurd over-explanation can be comedic in its own way.
  • TychoCelchuuu · 1 year ago
I kind of have to agree with Mr. X, only without all the harsh invectives and stuff. In any case I'm posting to say this is one of the funniest comics in a while and that's saying a lot. Great job guys.
