Truck Bearing Kibble: What I’ve been up to…

  • Dan · 11 months ago
Huzzah Congratulations and good luck! Bringing children into this world is a wonderful thing, especially if you have a sublime sense of humor about it like you and I have. Cheers and here's to the future!
  • Sol · 11 months ago
Good luck! Thanks for letting us know how it's going. This comic sure makes my day whenever it's posted, and I think I can say thanks from all us readers for producing it. We'll hold on as long as it takes :)

    Congratulations on the kid.

Thought this up a many years back:-

"Can I, a mere mortal, describe the wonder, grandeur and responsibility of bringing another human being into this world?"

    "Nope"

As I have learned with my daughter (Now 2.5) it is at times horrifying and beautiful.
Now if I wasn't broke, bankrupt and bereft of employment........

Good excuse. I'll let it slide, then.
  • Yak Boy · 11 months ago
    Congratulations.

I love the comic, but life comes first.
I'm glad it's good news and not bad.

I look forward to whatever you bring us in the future.

    Congrats and best wishes.

    Congratulations man!

Hey, family's first! But, if possible, keep up the comic. It's awesome. =)
  • KyleZ · 11 months ago
What if his family really likes his comics?

The man needs to put food on the table somehow.

Do stores still accept unique page views in exchange for food?
  • Finnur · 11 months ago
Congratulations on the baby and good luck in school.

I'm looking forward to the next comic :)
  • annemjw · 11 months ago
Congratulations to you and your girlfriend, that's lovely news! Hope you both find the next year or so in particular a really fun and exciting and not too scar time :)
  • annemjw · 11 months ago
Argh, that's was supposed to be 'scary', but I suppose the first applies as well to some degree...
  • Dead Robot · 11 months ago
    Yay! new material!

Just kidding. Congratulations, take your time. I can wait.
  • KyleZ · 11 months ago
    It's always a dame.
    TELL YOKO I SAID HI.

(congratulations on about to be becoming a dad. and the Indian food.)
  • Sarah T. · 11 months ago
Hey, congratulations! "A kalidescope of love, fear, awe, joy, and worry" is pretty much going to describe the next 18 years. Isn't it wonderful!
  • NathanPralle · 11 months ago
Congratulations! Thanks for the update. I have a little boy, just at 14 months, and he's completely the best thing I've done yet to date. It's not all roses and cupcakes, but the hard work and piles of poop are well worth what you get out of it. Enjoy it!
  • Rob Cottingham · 11 months ago
Congratulations! I can attest first-hand that it eats into the cartooning time... but it's the best, most rewarding work I've ever done. (Also, the hardest!)
  • Okio · 11 months ago
    That's fantastic. Congrats!
  • Mike · 11 months ago
Congrats on the good news and successful move. Your comics have been so good to us, it's only fair that you take time for yourself and for your new, exciting life that is approaching.

    Best of luck, sir.

Hm, your post is pretty well written. But you should've talked more about Emporia and all the awesome people you left behind. Yep, that would have made this post better. But still, not bad Jeremy. Not bad.
  • Andy · 11 months ago
Holy cow, I live in Lawrence, KS. I did not know one of my favorite comics was next door!

    Grats!
  • DeltaBlast · 11 months ago
    Wow! Congratulations!

However, I'd wish you'd make at least one more comic soon, because it's horrible to see those wrestlers each time. It was funny a month ago, now it's just scary.

And it makes my coworkers think I'm looking at drawn gay porn.
  • Neavers · 11 months ago
    Congratulations. :)
  • Chris · 11 months ago
Congratulations. Just be there for him and his mommy and you'll be ahead of the pack.
  • Blamer · 11 months ago
Wait... it's the future... yes a vision of... a... TBK childrens book...
  • GhengisVaughn · 11 months ago
    Funny you should say that....
  • KRD · 11 months ago
Congrats and cheers for keeping us posted. Compared to the endless drama we went through when moving, it seems to have gone reasonably quickly for you. I guess that's just how these things work across the pond, but still, may everything else turn out this well for you too.

I have to admit I am a little worried about the post that's to come, but I'll try to keep it in for now. For the record, though, I'm quite sure many of us would be more than fine with less regular doses of distilled comical awesome... as long as they keep on coming, heh. There's bound to be plenty of inspiration headed your way in four months!
  • Izzy · 11 months ago
One more congratulations coming your way! I wanted to let you know how much laughter your comic has given me. As the proud father of a one and a half year old son, let me tell you, it's going to be amazing.
  • Rihlsul · 11 months ago
Tis the season... Bunch of my guildmates are now all expecting. I give to you a bit of the same advice: Go buy the Expectant Father. Best of the pack for expecting parenting books, esp for you. There will be others, but start there.
  • Off · 11 months ago
My girlfriend is actually way ahead of you. She picked this up for me some time ago. It is, indeed, quite good.
  • Ray · 11 months ago
    Congratulations!

And I must say, I do love the coast out there, I was out in the fall.
  • GhengisVaughn · 11 months ago
In the distant future I am pulling that he will draw as good as his father and we can get comics out Bi Weekly ;)
  • Walker · 11 months ago
    CONGRATS MAN!

that bad news should be seen as GREAT news ;)
